These three electric desks offer different top depths and height ranges. We compared the specifications of the linked configurations, not hands-on performance. The specifications below come from the SHW listing, FLEXISPOT listing, and VIVO listing, retrieved through Amazon’s API on November 7, 2026. Availability and configurations can change.
Selection Criteria and Limitations of This Guide
We retained distinct configurations with a confirmed offer, identifiable model and published fit specifications. We used the linked listings’ model and feature details retrieved through Amazon’s Creators API. We did not assemble or test these products; published dimensions and load limits may change, so confirm them with the seller and manufacturer before ordering.
Choosing between the desks
The SHW OD-009-1 has a shallower top and a drawer; measure knee clearance before choosing it. The FLEXISPOT EN1 and VIVO DESK-KIT-1B5B have deeper one-piece tops. The VIVO lists the tallest maximum and the highest minimum of these configurations; that extra height does not help if it cannot go low enough for you. The listed capacities are manufacturer claims, not measurements of stability. Check whether the maker counts the top in the load.
Measure your fit
Measure floor to relaxed elbow while seated with feet supported and while standing in your usual shoes. Compare the keyboard surface to those measurements. OSHA’s purchasing guide recommends a keyboard around elbow height and room for the legs. Check monitor distance, knee clearance, cable slack throughout travel and the combined moving load. We have not independently tested wobble or motor performance.
When to skip a standing desk
If your existing desk fits and you only want occasional standing, consider a converter or separate high work surface. If none reaches your seated height or provides adequate knee room, choose another configuration that fits. See our converter versus full desk guide.
Does standing replace movement?
No. OSHA recommends changing working position frequently; standing all day is not the goal.
