Lingo CGM — Single Sensor
A single Lingo sensor is the smaller initial purchase. Check phone compatibility first. Stelo is the alternative to compare if Oura integration matters.

Compare Stelo and Lingo by eligibility and the app you want to use. Stelo has an official Oura integration; Lingo offers its own glucose-coaching experience and now supports compatible Android and iOS devices. Neither choice makes every glucose fluctuation a problem that needs fixing.
Stelo vs Lingo: The Decision
- Choose Stelo to investigate Oura integration. Dexcom documents a connection that displays glucose information in the Oura app. Check the supported ring, app and membership requirements on the official Stelo–Oura page.
- Compare Lingo for its app and sensor-pack options. Abbott’s US Lingo site lists both iOS and Android support. Check your exact phone and operating system in its compatibility document; Android support does not mean every Android phone works.
The FDA’s Stelo clearance covers adults 18 and older who do not use insulin, including people without diabetes and some people with diabetes using oral medication. It excludes people with problematic hypoglycemia. The FDA describes wear of up to 15 days and advises against medical decisions based on the output without consulting a healthcare provider.
Buying Options: Sensors, Meter and Accessory
The four entries below are not four competing CGMs. Two are Lingo pack sizes, one is a finger-stick meter, and one is an accessory labeled for Libre 3 Plus. For Stelo, use Dexcom’s official site to check the current offer.
Detailed Reviews
1. Lingo CGM — 2-Pack
Why it's here: Two Lingo sensors for buyers who already know they want a second sensor. Compare the checkout total with two single sensors; a multipack is not automatically cheaper.
- Two sensors in one purchase
- Uses the Lingo app
- Check phone and operating-system compatibility before purchase
- Buying two does not establish a clinical benefit
2. Lingo CGM — Single Sensor
Why it's here: One Lingo sensor for a smaller initial commitment. Choose the pack size based on how much monitoring you plan to do, not an assumed multipack discount.
- One sensor to start
- Same Lingo platform as the multipack
- Ongoing monitoring requires replacement sensors
- Check the current compatible-device list
3. Ascensia Contour Next Gen Meter Kit
Why it's here: A finger-stick blood glucose meter kit, not a continuous monitor. It provides individual readings and requires compatible test strips.
- Does not require wearing a sensor
- Individual blood glucose readings
- No continuous glucose curve
- Requires finger sticks and replacement strips
4. HONYOU Covers for Libre 3 Plus (60-Pack)
Why it's here: This listing is labeled for Libre 3 Plus. We have not verified compatibility with Lingo or Stelo; do not add it to a Lingo order based on this comparison.
- Adhesive-cover accessory
- Not a glucose sensor
- Lingo and Stelo compatibility not verified
What to Check Before Paying
- Read the manufacturer’s current eligibility and safety information for the exact device.
- Confirm your phone model and operating system, not just the Apple or Android brand.
- Compare the total for single sensors and multipacks. Include any subscription you choose and check renewal terms.
- Check replacement policies and adhesive instructions. Covers designed for another sensor are not automatically compatible.
When to Skip an OTC CGM
- You use insulin or need low-glucose alerts: ask your clinician about a device appropriate for your care rather than choosing from wellness features.
- Your phone is unsupported: resolve compatibility before ordering sensors.
- You have no question the readings will help answer: consider whether recurring sensor purchases will add value before committing to continuous use.
Honest Limitations of This Guide
We have not run a head-to-head accuracy study of Stelo and Lingo. A clearance, app feature or catalog listing does not establish that one product will improve your health or that a particular meal should be eliminated. This page does not diagnose diabetes or prescribe glucose targets.
Educational information only, not medical advice. Discuss symptoms, diagnosis and treatment decisions with a qualified healthcare professional.
How We Selected These Options
Selection criteria for this update were identifiable listings, a distinct buying use case, and current manufacturer or catalog information. Availability checks are snapshots, not a guarantee of stock at checkout. The limitations above describe the evidence we did not verify.
